Killian Collins

Killian has worked as a director, assistant director, and actor on over 60 productions. He is Artistic Director of Colton Theatre Company and holds an honors degree in Government from UCC. For Colton Theatre Company, he has directed Damages‘Tis Pity She’s A Whore and This Lime Tree Bower (all at Cork Arts Theatre).

Other directing credits include Calamity Jane (INEC, Killarney), Orion’s Hat (Old Red Lion, London), Inheriting Cleo (Cork Arts Theatre), Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train (Granary Theatre), The Music Man (Fermoy Musical Society) and the last three seasons of pantomime at the Palace Theatre, Fermoy. Work as an assistant includes Freezin’ (Olympia, Dublin), GreaseThe Good SistersThe Sunbeam Girls 2 and four seasons of pantomime all at Cork Opera House.

Also an accomplished actor, some favourite credits include The Cripple of Inishmaan (Esplanade, Singapore), The Sunshine Boys and Calendar Girls (Everyman, Cork), All My SonsOne for the RoadOrphans and Caught in the Net (Amateur Drama Circuit), The Plough and the Stars and Romeo and Juliet (Ballyduff Drama Group), The ‘ALL STAR’ Wars (Irish Tour) and Michael Collins – A Musical Drama (Cork Opera House, Olympia Theatre, Dublin and Theatre Royal, Waterford).
